Let me begin by saying a BIG THANK YOU to all the readers, subscribers, viewers, commenters, critics, fans, lovers and silent admirers of Shitty Ideas Trending. SIT is nothing without you guys. And hence, we ALWAYS take into account your opinion on the content we create and what you like to watch on SIT. Many of you have been telling us to increase the frequency of the content. So, (drumroll please) we are so proud to announce the launch of Witty Ideas Trending (Yeah, we couldn’t resist calling it that :p ) this coming Tuesday!
Why the different name? Well, to be honest, we really did want to launch WIT as another channel and contemplated that for a while. But then we decided against it and thought it best to start a second weekly upload on SIT itself. It just made more sense to cater to all the viewers who are loyally subscribed to SIT rather than creating a fresh set of audience or to ask our existing viewers to also offer their loyalty to another channel. As of now at least. And hence, in came the Tuesday slot.
How is WIT different from SIT? Good question! On Shitty Ideas Trending you love to watch RISHI (Karan V Grover), ROHINI (myself, Chhavi Mittal), ABHIMANYU (Pracheen Chauhan), MEERA (Pooja Gor) and of course the adorable BABY (Shubhangi Litoria). So to start with we didn’t want you to be scared of losing us. We’ll continue to upload THE BETTER HALF, PYAR KA PUNCH and MAID IN HEAVEN every week on Thursdays, as is our promise to you. But every now and then, we will also bring to you different Web-Series freshly out of the oven, just to add spice to our content creation passion and your viewing experience.
The first Web-Series to be launched had to be out of the box, different, hugely entertaining, fun, engaging and so much more. (Who am I kidding, they all need to be that!) Hence, YOURS CUPIDLY. What’s different about YOURS CUPIDLY is also that it’s been written by SIT Creator/Founder MOHIT HUSSEIN and a new writer on board, AKHLAQUE KHAN. Continuing to add the novelty we roped in fresh faces SKAND THAKUR playing Akshar and JAYASHREE VENTEKARAMANAN playing Riddhi. YOURS CUPIDLY is a simple, romantic story of a boy meeting a girl. How he meets her is what adds a fresh dose of comedy!
